Jewellery Industry
In the jewellery industry, special chillers of -20° C glycol water solutions are used to feed the drums of ice lathes used in the machining of chains.
Another particular application in the goldsmith's field are heat pump evaporators for treating waste water from machining operations (e.g. tumbling, washing workpieces, etc.) and recovering the precious metals they contain.
